Exploring Moonlight Peaks at Night: The Mines, Forest & Lake (No Combat)

Where you roam after dark — the town, forest, lake and a mine — and why even the mines stay cozy and combat-free. Plus what is still under wraps.

5 min · Updated June 2026

Moonlight Peaks flips the usual farm-sim clock: you live and work at night and head back to your coffin by sunrise. Here is what is confirmed about where you go — and the design choice that makes it stand out.

A world you explore by moonlight

Beyond your farm and cottage, previews and the demo show a town to socialize in, plus surrounding areas like the forest and lake for foraging and fishing, and a mine to delve into. You move between them as part of the nightly routine.

Yes, there are mines — no, there is no combat

This is the big one: Moonlight Peaks has no combat anywhere, and that explicitly includes the mines. Press who went hands-on confirmed the mines are about exploration and discovery, not fighting — a deliberate cozy, low-stakes design.

Confirmed vs reported

The town, your farm and cottage, the forest, the lake and a mine have all been shown or described. A few specific spots are still only reported, and exactly how the map connects — and whether there is fast travel — has not been fully detailed.

What we are not mapping yet

  • What is actually inside the mines (resources, depth, layout).
  • The full map and how areas link together.
  • Fast-travel options — confirmed at launch, not assumed.
We will only add mine contents, resource tables and a full map once the live game confirms them on July 7.
