Magic & Potions in Moonlight Peaks: The Wand, Runes & Brewing
Wand repair, spell runes, mana, potion-brewing and the Alter Ego Elixir — the confirmed magic systems, and the details we are leaving blank until launch.
Magic is woven through everything in Moonlight Peaks — farming, exploring and daily chores. Here is how the confirmed systems work, based on the developers’ own descriptions and press hands-on previews.
It is wand-based — runes and mana
You repair and use a wand, drawing spell runes to cast, and you manage a mana pool that you refill by eating. Magic is a resource to plan around rather than something you spam freely.
Magic speeds up the farm
A lot of it is quality-of-life: energy-saving spells, a watering minigame, and telekinetic watering cans that help you tend enchanted crops at night without burning all your energy.
Potions — including the Alter Ego Elixir
Potion-crafting is one of the game’s named activities. One confirmed example is the Alter Ego Elixir, which changes your character’s appearance. Shapeshifting is part of the fantasy too — a bat form has been shown, and demo players described dashing around as a cat.
