Romance & Marriage in Moonlight Peaks: What’s Confirmed
Dating, marriage and the one big “no” — what is actually confirmed about relationships before the July 7 launch, and what we are not guessing.
Romance is a core part of the cozy loop in Moonlight Peaks, and one of the most-searched topics ahead of launch. Here is what the developers and press previews have actually confirmed — kept separate from the parts we will not guess at until the full game is out.
You can marry — but you cannot have children
Marriage is confirmed: you can date residents and eventually marry. Children, however, are confirmed to be out — there is no child-raising system, which sets it apart from sims like Stardew Valley, Coral Island and Sun Haven.
Around two dozen to romance, with no gender lock
The romanceable roster has grown across development to roughly two dozen characters, and dating is gender-neutral — you are not restricted by your character’s gender. Exactly who is on the final list has not been fully revealed.
Saga is the standout confirmed option
The clearest confirmed romance is Saga, a werewolf whose energy shifts with the full moon. Several other residents have been shown or named in previews, but treat anyone beyond the confirmed names as reported rather than final.
What we are not guessing
- Per-character gift preferences (loved and liked gifts) — not revealed; we will not invent gift tables.
- Heart-event details and how many hearts are needed to marry.
- The complete romanceable roster and each character’s schedule.
