Turn into a bat to get around
The confirmed headline form is the classic vampire bat. Shifting into a bat lets you fly around the town quickly at night, which is handy when you're juggling the farm, errands and socialising before sunrise.
Other forms are hinted at
The studio has teased that you can learn to shapeshift into other forms too, beyond the bat. Players who tried the demo described dashing around as a cat, but the complete set of forms — and what each one is good for — hasn't been fully detailed yet.
Part of your vampire powers
Shapeshifting sits alongside the rest of your supernatural abilities and helps you explore everything the town has to offer. It pairs naturally with witchcraft and potions — and like everything else in your (un-)life, it works around the rule that you return to your coffin before the sun comes up.
